WxWidgets is a cross-platform GUI library that uses native widgets instead of providing its own. An Amiga OS implementation would allow development of cross-platform applications with minimal effort when it comes to GUI programing.

Wxwidget-aos is intended to be a wxWidgets implementation for all Amiga-like OSes. Unfortunately development stalled. This project would restart this project and bring it to a usable state.
WxWidgets has a permissive license enabling it to be used in both open-source and closed-source applications. Example applications include Audio Evolution 5, Symlab and KICAD.
